Weed clearing operations inaugurated by the Vidyanagar Association President on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti 02-Oct-2020.

Seen in above photo, the Association President himself using the weed cutting machine to clear the weeds in Sidharth Colony garden. The machine was purchased by the association last year. Also seen are local youth participating in the drive. Afterall, this ground is where they play football.

The weed clearing operation began at 10 a.m sharp and was in full swing within minutes.

Resident participation in social activities is the key to not only keeping the surrounding area clean, but in developing harmonious relationships.

The youth soon got into the hang of things and the garden was cleared of weeds in next to no time.

Mrs. Varsha Naik and Mrs. Tejal Nayak both from Sidharth colony also participated in the weed clearing drive.
